Sparkling Water

1. Composition: Sparkling water is water that has been carbonated, meaning carbon dioxide gas has been dissolved in it under pressure. This gives it its characteristic bubbles and fizzy texture. Hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) is a chemical compound made up of two hydrogen atoms and two oxygen atoms. It is commonly used as a disinfectant, bleach, and antiseptic.

2. Oxygen Release: Both substances can release oxygen, but in different ways. When hydrogen peroxide decomposes, it breaks down into water and oxygen gas, which can create bubbles. This reaction is often used in various applications, including cleaning and disinfection. Sparkling water contains dissolved carbon dioxide, which forms carbonic acid in water, creating the fizzy sensation when opened or poured.
